Which certificates do we hold?
Sloop Concurrent is proud to hold various process certificates demonstrating that we comply with legislation on the environment, quality and safety. Obtaining and maintaining these certificates encourages us to keep improving in several areas. We are happy to tell you about the certificates we hold:
- BRL 9335: We are certified under Assessment Guideline BRL9335. It describes both the management of batches and flows of soil and their classification under the Dutch Soil Quality Decree.
- BRL 7000: Sloop Concurrent meets the requirements of BRL7000. These relate to soil remediation under the Dutch Soil Protection Act and Environmental Management Act. This certification aims to safeguard quality in soil remediation and soil storage.
- BRL SVMS-007: BRL SVMS-007 Safe and Environmentally Responsible Demolition is the certification scheme for professional demolition companies. It sets requirements for carrying out demolition and for handling and removing the resulting materials. Sloop Concurrent meets these requirements and is therefore proud to be BRL SVMS-007 certified.
- VCA**: All Sloop Concurrent employees are certified under the well-known VCA** system. This means we carry out our work in accordance with VCA** guidelines, including policies, operational practices, and the structure and planning of safety, health and environmental matters for both our demolition company and you as our customer.
- ISO 9001: This certificate demonstrates that Sloop Concurrent meets all international quality management requirements. The relevant business processes are documented in the quality, health and safety, and environmental management manual and are improved each year through audits.

How our demolition company handles complete demolition
As you have read, we carry out total demolition in accordance with applicable laws and regulations to make the process as safe and efficient as possible. But how do we carry out the entire demolition project? Read on to find out.

- Contact following your information or quote request
We contact you personally to discuss the options for your full demolition project and, if you wish, prepare a free, no-obligation quote. This gives you a clearer picture of the different tasks, costs and project duration. Take your time to review it. - The demolition plan and any surveys or inspections
Once you accept the quote, we get to work promptly. Before full demolition, we prepare a demolition plan in accordance with BRTL SVMS-007. This report includes the findings of the materials survey and any inspections, as well as the requirements for carrying out the work. - Careful and safe demolition
Once the demolition plan is complete, total demolition can begin. Our experienced demolition team works expertly and carefully to make the process as safe as possible. They ensure the demolition site is and remains safe and orderly, prevent the materials released from contaminating the ground and surrounding area, and use water sprays to minimise dust nuisance.
Our tradespeople work exclusively with approved, safe equipment and tools that are inspected annually. - Removing the resulting rubble
If required, we can remove the rubble produced by complete demolition. This means you do not have to worry about any part of the project, making things easier for you. We offer this additional service for a small extra charge and are happy to explain the options. - Handover
After demolition is complete and the rubble has been removed, Sloop Concurrent prepares a materials accountability report covering the demolition materials produced. This can be provided to you at handover on request.

Sloop Concurrent: certifications and insurance
When you ask Sloop Concurrent to carry out your demolition work, you can look forward to a pleasant working relationship. Sloop Concurrent is well insured. We hold CAR insurance, or Construction All Risks insurance, covering material damage arising during the construction or installation of buildings, roads, bridges and systems. We have never had to make a claim on this insurance, but we prefer to be on the safe side.
Sloop Concurrent is also an accredited training company, training the skilled tradespeople of the future. All our demolition workers are trained in-house, and we do not subcontract our work. This is reflected both in the total cost and in the final result.
Asbestos must always be considered when demolishing structures. We therefore hold dNAA certification, which allows us to remove asbestos. We do so safely and responsibly.
