Sloop Concurrent can conceal all your pipes and cables in the walls, ceiling or floor. Plastering is then needed for a neat finish. After cutting the channels, we clean the work area and remove the debris, leaving you with nothing further to worry about.
Chases are most commonly cut when installing underfloor or wall heating. A chase is a channel sawn or cut with great precision and accuracy. Sloop Concurrent specialises in chase cutting, particularly in concrete and masonry materials.
Another reason to cut channels is to install electrical cables or water pipes in floors or walls. Channels are also sawn or milled for drainage pipes in floors or walls, for example, or to install spotlights. We can help with every aspect!

Why have channels cut?

Cost of chasing channels in concrete
Most people already living in their home find it difficult to have their floor broken out. If you are already living in the property, having channels cut into the floor for underfloor heating is much more convenient. Cutting channels for underfloor heating pipes is also cheaper, making it more attractive in several respects. You can use underfloor heating as supplementary heating or as your main heating system. If you choose it as your main heating system, you will no longer need radiators. Naturally, this requires more channels to be cut, which costs extra but saves money in the future as gas becomes increasingly scarce. The pipes are divided into circuits because each pipe must be no longer than 120 metres. Otherwise, pressure loss will prevent the system from working properly. Multiple circuits also allow you to distribute the underfloor heating more effectively. The bathroom or kitchen is usually the cheapest option because these rooms generally already have an existing floor. Underfloor heating here costs between 500 and 1000 euros.
The most standard option is underfloor heating in the living room. Because breaking out the floor is often not an option, cutting channels for underfloor heating is ideal. For the best result, pipes should be approximately 15 cm apart. For between 40 and 70 metres, underfloor heating costs around 1000 to 1500 euros.
Would you like underfloor heating channels cut into the floor of your home or office? There is no need to break the floor open. The pipes should be spaced around 10 cm apart for the best result. Typical areas range from 80 to 250 square metres. The average cost of underfloor heating is between 1500 and 5000 euros.
What customers say about Sloop Concurrent
Sloop Concurrent would be nowhere without its customers. This is what our customers have to say about us.
Chasing pipes into a wall
Are you renovating and would you like neatly installed conduits for sockets, for example? Sloop Concurrent is the right choice. We have worked for various contractors and private customers for years. Our technicians are true professionals in cutting wall channels for cables and pipes. Once the plasterer has finished, your cables, pipes and underfloor heating are concealed.
Having chases cut for pipes
Chasing must be carried out properly and accurately. Doing so without excessive dust requires years of experience. We use only the best, latest tools. Chasing concrete in particular should be left to a professional. Our specialities include concrete drilling, demolition and cutting. When you ask Sloop Concurrent to carry out the job, you can expect a tidy work area afterwards, with all waste taken to an appropriate disposal facility.
Cutting channels in concrete
Sloop Concurrent has cut channels in walls and ceilings throughout the Netherlands for years, including for plumbers and similar trades. Cutting channels for electrical cables in concrete is always done with water because of tool wear and the hardness of the concrete. We usually also connect a dust extractor to the wall chaser. This allows us to keep your property as dust-free as possible. Drilling and cutting are everyday work for us, all at competitive, affordable rates.
Concrete is among the toughest materials to chase, especially blue concrete, making it the most demanding work. Working overhead with a heavy chasing machine is particularly strenuous. We offer the best, most competitive prices.
Accredited and certified for channel cutting
Sloop-Concurrent is an officially recognised and certified demolition company qualified to carry out various types of demolition work. We work in full accordance with the requirements set by Stichting Veilig en Milieukundig Slopen, the Dutch foundation for safe and environmentally responsible demolition. We hold the BRL SVMS-007 demolition certificate. Our many years of experience allow us to carry out even the most complex demolition work safely and effectively, whether the job is small or large. We always work carefully with specialist equipment.
Sloop Concurrent: certifications and insurance
When you ask Sloop Concurrent to carry out your demolition work, you can look forward to a pleasant working relationship. Sloop Concurrent is well insured. We hold CAR insurance, or Construction All Risks insurance, covering material damage arising during the construction or installation of buildings, roads, bridges and systems. We have never had to make a claim on this insurance, but we prefer to be on the safe side.
Sloop Concurrent is also an accredited training company, training the skilled tradespeople of the future. All our demolition workers are trained in-house, and we do not subcontract our work. This is reflected both in the total cost and in the final result.
Asbestos must always be considered when demolishing structures. We therefore hold dNAA certification, which allows us to remove asbestos. We do so safely and responsibly.
